We try a beer, we talk camping, camping, and more camping; and is there a week long trip in our futures? Enjoy our chat, we know we did.
It’s been 3 years since Spaulding was taken from us. I recommend everyone go back and listen to episode 50, we talk all about the breadth and scope of our relationships, and how much we mean to each other. In lieu of that, maybe just take some time to remember. Remember his laugh, remember his face, remember the big things and the little things. He’s gone, but not forgotten. I,for one, would like to walk around for a bit with a smile on my face replaying some of my favorite moments we shared. Like, whenever we would listen to Flogging Molly’s song ‘Black Friday Rule’ there is a line where they shout, “For, I am the king and shall long may I reign!” but regardless of how many times we would shout along, Spaulding would almost always mess up the lyrics. I can’t hear that song without seeing him launch into it with gusto, only to mix up the words and mumble “dammit” with a grin before jumping back into the sing-along.
Tell someone that didn’t know him all about him. Tell a friend that did know him one of your treasured memories that you love to replay in your mind and heart.
